Here are a few comments teens of our church wrote on their evaluation forms at the conclusion of RYM PacNW 2010 Summer Camp in the Mt. Baker Wilderness:
“Christians are more friendly and cool than I thought. Thanks for letting me come to your camp. My friend invited me and it was awesome!”
“EC (our guest speaker and pastor at Chehalem Valley PCA in Newberg) made me think more deeply about the gospel and all the problems in the world under God’s sovereignty”
“I don’t know if I’m a Christian but I want to be one.”
“Pastor Stephen Lewis convinced me that the Bible completely points to Jesus. I thought so.”
“I am going to be more serious about following Jesus.”
“I am one complicated person. My counselors really helped me even though it was hard.”
“There was a lot of love shown to me by the speakers.”
“It was good to hear preaching. I don’t get much at my church.”
“The natural beauty is incredible. Thanks for getting us out on the trail.”
“I liked hanging out at camp talking to my friends”
“Bringing our water weapons was awesome”
“The view of Mt. Baker with the moon rising was breathtaking….worth the whole week… Our God is awesome!”
(Psalm 19 – “The heavens declare the glory of God!”)
