Evergreen Presbyterian Church

Evergreen is enthusiastically participating in missions worldwide. The Evergreen Missions Committee makes decisions about increasing support of missionaries and organizations. The committee also organizes short-term mission teams for members and friends of Evergreen. Kevin Epp is chairman of the committee, which presently includes, David Hopkins, Tim Dugan, James Trott, Joe Pope, and Kate Pope.

We partner with our sister congregations in Guadalajara, financially supporting the gospel ministry, sending teams to assist and to strengthen relationships, and inviting teams to visit us. We work with Cristo Redentor Iglesia Presbyteriana and with Cristo Cambia la Vida. Both of these congregations staff and operate Eirene Ministries. We support the work of Keith and Julie Thomas at Cristo Redentor, of Hortensia Segura, a teacher in our school for the children of Santa Ana Tepetitlan, and the work of Gonzalo Garcia, Pastor of Cristo Cambia la Vida.

We partner with the Mission to the World team in Berlin. We support Jay and Holly Eastman, members of this church planting team.

We partner with CHIEF, a mission discipling Native Americans. Our own Associate Pastor, David Hopkins, and his wife, Music Director, Carolyn Hopkins work with CHIEF. David teaches School without Walls, one of the educational programs of CHIEF training church leaders in Native American communities.

We partner with Jay and Laura Stoms, Mission to the World missionaries on assignment at African Bible College in Malawi.
