Evergreen works with her sister congregations in the Portland metro to serve in the name of Christ, believing that the gospel changes everything.
Love Inc: Evergreen Deacons helped to establish the local chapter in Beaverton of this organization relieving the material needs of Washington County. One of our deacons at any given time serves as a director of the board and our members assist in collecting and dispensing goods and services to people in need.
Mother & Child Education Center:This organization provides care for families through every chapter of life, assisting pregnant mothers, first generation neighbors and families living on the edge. Evergreen member, Martha MacIver is Executive Director, Pastor Nathan Lewis is Spiritual Advisor and Deacon Dave McGuire serves as a director of the Board. Volunteers teach parenting classes, cooking workshops, and language classes. Diapers, layettes, home furnishings and prayers are offered daily. Telephone hotlines are open 24/7. The M&C House is located in the Hollywood District next to Trader Joes on the Max line.

Sunshine Pantry:Evergreen regularly collects food, school supplies and household items dispensed by this local charity in Beaverton.
The Portland Rescue Mission: Evergreen joins her sister congregation, Intown PCA, on the first Thursday of the month is serving food and leading chapel meetings at the mission. Over the past 15 years members of our congregations have served as staff of the mission.
Evergreen also supports Saint Child, formerly, House of Ruth, a safe house in Washington County.
Evergreen members are regularly encouraged to serve in the name of Christ through charities connected to their employers, schools, and neighborhoods. Through these connections we not only find tactful opportunities to share the gospel but even more so, to live according to the gospel that has transformed us. The gospel changes everything!
