Who We Are
We are works in progress - to say the least. We believe the gospel of Jesus - that we are children of God transformed from darkness to light - to say the most! Our worship is traditional, but we are not terribly religious or ritualistic. Some of us are over-educated, but we are not snobbish. We represent the economic, political, and social spectrums of our community.
We are an extended family and gathering of neighbors on the corner of Hall and Hart in Beaverton, Oregon. You have the choice of becoming a member or of regularly participating as a non-member. You are welcome! Come visit us to see what the Holy Spirit is doing through us and in spite of us. We would love to hear about your spiritual journey and what God may be calling you to do to his glory and the expansion of his kingdom.
Members of Evergreen are those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ and who have committed to serve God through our congregation, submitting to the officers' authority, short of any violence to personal conscience.
We are part of a church multiplication movement in the Pacific Northwest, starting new congregations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. We are members of The Northwest Church Planting Network.
