Bible Resources

Bible reading plans, Scripture memory, and online resources are all ways to facilitate our knowledge and treasuring of God’s word.

At Evergreen, we use the English Standard Version.  The English Standard Version (ESV) is an essentially literal translation of the Bible in contemporary English. Created by a team of more than 100 leading evangelical scholars and pastors, the ESV Bible emphasizes word-for-word accuracy, literary excellence, and depth of meaning.

ESVStudyBible.com has access to a full online study bible and Greek New Testament.

Monergism.com  is a curated link directory that captures and categorizes the best free historically reformed theological content on the internet.

Ligonier Ministries has an incredible amount of free online resources for daily devotions, bible study and theological educational resources.

Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.”

Bible memorization is a key aspect of a Christian’s life and one of the most crucial elements to spiritual growth and victory over sin. It will enhance your worship and prayer and serve you well in evangelization.
We have provided a few memory verse programs below to get you started.

Truth:78 has an excellent program called Fighter Verses that are focused on the character and worth of God. They encourage believers in to battle against their fleshly desires, and remind them of the hope of the gospel.

Memverse has a free online system that will help you track your progress.
